Exploring Beginner Arm Balances Workshop - Crow Variations!

If Crow Pose has intimidated you and you sit in class watching as everyone efforts toward the pose thinking, "Yeah, I'm never doing that..." or you attempt the pose only to discover that your feet are crazy glued to the floor, then this workshop is for you! We’ll play with Crow, Side Crow, Funky Crow, and Baby Crow. Yes, there are that many. AND you’ll learn the difference between Crow and Crane.

In this fun 2 hours, we will safely explore what muscles we need to use and how to find the effort and lightness when going into arm balances. We'll work together to discover different variations of the Crow Pose. 

It IS attainable and it's not as scary as you think it is. You just need to take time, breath and understand where your body needs to be in the posture. 

We will work up a sweat with a vinyasa class focused on targeting key muscles needed to execute the posture. Then we'll play with the variations and end in a guided Savasana. 

Bring your *mat, some water and a belief that you can do this. 

*if you don’t have your own, there are plenty at the studio.
